Strong application of technology at the 18th Hanoi Party Congress

At the press conference, Mr. Ha Minh Hai, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, said that the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee, term 2025-2030, has the theme: "Promoting the thousand-year tradition of civilization and heroism; uniting to build a clean and strong Party Committee; pioneering and making breakthroughs in the new era; developing a civilized, modern and happy capital".

The Congress is a major political event, taking place in a context of great significance, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", seizing opportunities, overcoming challenges, determined to build a "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" capital, pioneering with the whole country to enter a new era - an era of prosperous and powerful development of the Vietnamese people, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of the country's development goals until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

“The work of drafting documents is determined by the Hanoi Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee to be a very important task, not only to evaluate the results and achievements that the Party Committee, army and people of the capital have achieved in the past term, but also to set high requirements for the development of the capital in the context of the country entering a new era, an era of national growth, building an independent, self-reliant, prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy country”, the Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Board emphasized.

In particular, the personnel plan has basically followed and implemented Directive No. 45-CT/TW of the Politburo and the regulations and instructions of the central government. The Politburo has basically agreed with the personnel plan prepared by the Hanoi Party Committee.

Specifically, the number of personnel of the Hanoi Party Committee Executive Committee includes 75 people (an increase of 4 people); the number of Standing Committee members includes 17 people; the number of Standing Committee members of the City Party Committee includes 5 people. Mr. Ha Minh Hai emphasized that the introduction of personnel of the Hanoi Party Committee Executive Committee has a reasonable basic structure between departments, branches, and localities, ensuring the rate of innovation of the Party Committee (38.37%).

The congress will also apply many scientific and technological achievements, including implementing a paperless congress, applying the iCabineT system on mobile devices (phones or tablets) for delegates attending the congress; providing identification codes (QR codes) to perform the roll call of delegates; providing official seating charts for delegates attending the congress, integrating the "direction" feature to help delegates move conveniently and to the right position; digitizing all documents serving the congress, such as: invitations, programs, congress documents and integrating a virtual assistant to answer questions about documents to help delegates grasp the content of the congress documents.

The 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is scheduled to take place from October 15 to 17 at the National Convention Center with the participation of 550 delegates representing nearly 500,000 party members of the Hanoi Party Committee. The preparatory session will be held on October 15; the official session will be held on October 16 and 17.
