Hanoi Book Fair 2025: Festival of knowledge, spreading the desire to excel

On the evening of October 3, at Ba Kieu Temple flower garden (Hoan Kiem district), the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports opened the 10th Hanoi Book Fair - 2025 with the theme "Thang Long - Hanoi: Aspiration to rise".

On the evening of October 3, at the Ba Kieu Temple flower garden (Hoan Kiem District), the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports opened the 10th Hanoi Book Fair - 2025 with the theme "Thang Long - Hanoi: Aspiration to rise up". The event is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and the 26th anniversary of Hanoi being honored by UNESCO as a "City for Peace ".

This year, the exhibition space introduces nearly 400 typical books about Thang Long - Hanoi , Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, famous scholars; notably the Thang Long Thousand Years of Culture Bookcase and the electronic version of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam Bookcase. In addition, the Mobile Library offers many historical and cultural publications for free, while the international book booth introduces publications from Laos and foreign books.

The highlight of the book fair is the experience of applying digital technology : reading e-books, exploring VR360 virtual reality, interacting with "AI Turtle", looking up digital maps via GIS, or practicing sewing traditional books yourself. At the same time, the exchange sessions and book launches attracted a large number of readers, such as the book series about General Nguyen Chi Thanh (Alpha Books), the historical novel Van Xuan (Women's Publishing House), or the topic "Turn open the page of Vietnamese history" for children.

Hanoi Book Fair 2025 affirms its position as a cultural meeting place for readers, where knowledge connects tradition and modernity, spreading the spirit of studiousness and the aspiration to rise up with the times./.
