At the competition, many products were highly rated, demonstrating systematic technological thinking, clear applicability, and the potential for scalability in practice. Among them, some outstanding students were recognized, such as: Dang Ba Cuong, Le Van Tam Primary School (Tuyen Quang City); Ngo Van Thai, Le Quy Don Secondary School (Tuyen Quang City); Dinh Xuan Hieu, Ma Chi Anh, Tuyen Quang Specialized High School; Nguyen Pham Khanh Ngoc, Dang Bao Chi, Ham Yen High School…. From learning support software and online testing tools to integrated solutions and software deployment for education, the competition truly opened the door to creativity for high school students.

Sowing the seeds of digitalization for the future.

As one of the province's outstanding representatives selected to participate in the 31st National Youth Informatics Competition in 2025, the project "SECRET BOX - Knowledge Connection Software" by a group of 10th-grade students from Ham Yen High School, Nguyen Pham Khanh Ngoc and Dang Bao Chi, has high applicability and practical significance in education.

SECRET BOX is an online learning system that simulates a "secret box" format, where teachers create sets of questions for each subject. Students log in, open the box, complete the assignments directly, and receive immediate grading and ranking within the system. The software not only saves teachers time in checking assignments but also motivates learning through its competitive features and ranking system among students in the class.

Khánh Ngọc shared: “We wanted to create a useful software program that would save teachers time and make learning more exciting for our friends.”

According to teacher Nguyen Xuan Ket, a computer science teacher at Ham Yen High School and the team's mentor, SECRET BOX is not just a software program for participating in a computer science competition. The important thing is that the students have begun to think like real software developers. Their ability to identify problems, think of solutions, and write code themselves is a great success in digital skills education.

Developed on the Laravel platform, using a MySQL database and the TailwindCSS interface—modern tools in web development—this product demonstrates the high school students' ability to grasp new technologies. In particular, the software is highly open, easily customizable, and can be piloted in many high schools throughout the province.

Beyond being just a competition, the positive impact of this platform is spreading strongly to schools. Many institutions have organized programming clubs, extracurricular technology experience activities, and tested student projects in teaching. This shows that the competition not only encourages individual abilities but also contributes to shaping a culture of creative and innovative learning within schools.

Comrade Hoang Tran Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: “The Young Informatics Competition is a creative and educational playground where students can express themselves and gain experience. Through each entry and each product, we see the 'green shoots of technology' growing in each classroom and among each student—future digital citizens who possess a desire for innovation and are ready to adapt to the changes of the times.”
