Faced with the strong increase of the stock market in the current period, the State Securities Commission (SSC) has increased supervision, inspection, examination, and strict handling of violations in the market.

At the same time, the State Securities Commission issued a document requesting stock exchanges, the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSCD), and securities companies to strengthen supervision to ensure the stock market operates safely and stably.

The State Securities Commission requires stock exchanges to closely monitor stock transactions with sharp increases and decreases; in case of identifying signs of unusual transactions, analyze, evaluate, recommend, propose handling options, and report to the State Securities Commission for handling according to regulations.

The Vietnam Stock Exchange directs the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange to coordinate with the Hanoi Stock Exchange and VSCD to ensure safe, stable and smooth securities trading, clearing and settlement activities.

The State Securities Commission requires securities companies to strictly comply with legal regulations in their business activities and provision of securities services; to strengthen management and supervision of employees and practitioners to prevent employees and practitioners of the company from violating legal regulations and professional ethics, and to entice and invite people to participate in forums and groups to provide securities investment advice in violation of the law.

The State Securities Commission also requires close supervision of customers' compliance with legal regulations on securities transactions; proactively coordinate with stock exchanges, VSDC, and the State Securities Commission in supervision, inspection, and examination activities.

In case of detecting transactions with signs of violating regulations, report to stock exchanges and the State Securities Commission for handling.

On August 6, the VN-Index increased by 26.56 points (1.72%) to 1,573.71 points, the highest closing level in history.
