At the conference, delegates listened to the draft report on the work of the Front in 2023. Accordingly, closely following the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Party Committee, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations have successfully completed the assigned political tasks in 2023, promoting the role of gathering the strength of the great national unity bloc, religious unity; propagating and mobilizing union members, association members and people to actively carry out campaigns and emulation movements; participating in giving opinions on Party building and government building.
The Provincial Fatherland Front has promptly advised and issued documents to deploy the contents of preparations for organizing the Congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels and the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029; continuing to promote the application of information technology, digital transformation, effectively serving propaganda work, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of the Front's work in the new situation.
Some typical results include: The Fatherland Front at all levels coordinated with member organizations to mobilize people to donate nearly 120,000 m2 of land, contribute 95,000 working days to participate in new rural construction, and support over 56 billion VND to build the Gratitude and Social Security Fund in 2023.
The Fatherland Front at all levels chaired and participated in more than 900 supervisions; organized 125 social criticism conferences, 41 meetings with voters with the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council delegates; synthesized over 220 opinions and reported to competent authorities for consideration and resolution; received and distributed over 44,000 gifts, totaling nearly 19 billion VND to poor households, policy households and social protection beneficiaries; supported the construction and repair of 317 great solidarity houses...
The conference listened to comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, announce the results of the implementation of the province's socio -economic development tasks in 2023 and key tasks in 2024.
Participating in the discussion, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, cities and member organizations of the provincial Fatherland Front highly agreed with the report summarizing the work of the Front in 2023 and the key tasks in 2024. At the same time, they expressed their opinions to clarify the results, advantages and difficulties in implementing the work of the Front in 2023.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the efforts and commended the results of the Front's work in 2023.
Regarding the tasks for 2024, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee agreed with the 9 key tasks in the draft report of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the same time, he emphasized a number of contents: The Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue to effectively implement the Central's directive on social supervision and criticism; regulations and projects of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on mass mobilization work.
Focus on directing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province for the 2024-2029 term, ensuring progress, time, innovation and achieving good results. It is necessary to carefully prepare documents, focus on personnel work, propaganda and construction of works to welcome the Congress...
The Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, religious unity; promote the people's mastery, encourage the people to participate in Party building, building a clean and strong government. Continue to direct the implementation of social supervision and criticism, especially the supervision of the implementation of resolutions of the Provincial People's Council.
Continue to effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in conjunction with the implementation of local political tasks. Activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province need to continue to focus on the grassroots, actively participate in socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security and build the political system.
Continue to innovate the organization of the National Great Unity Day; focus on promoting the role of religious dignitaries and officials in carrying out the tasks of the Front.
Actively coordinate with authorities at all levels to solve social issues right from the grassroots, contributing to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people; coordinate well in social security work, take care of Tet for policy families, poor households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged people...
Also in the conference program, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee conducted consultations and agreed to admit 2 more member organizations (Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Ninh Binh province, Association of Soldiers of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel in 1972 of Ninh Binh province); supplemented 4 members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XI, 2019-2024; said goodbye to members who did not participate in the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XI, 2019-2024.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals of the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations were commended by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding achievements in the work of the Front in 2023.
