Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh commune: Mobilizing forces to support housing construction for people with revolutionary contributions

Implementing the Prime Minister's policy on "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" and towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh commune mobilized youth union members and members of the Women's Union of the commune to support and help repair houses for 2 households of people with revolutionary contributions in the area.

Accordingly, two meritorious households, Ms. Le Thi Khieu in Vinh Tuy 2 village and Ms. Pham Thi Phuong in Cho Go village, Quang Ninh commune, Quang Tri province, were supported with 40 million VND each to repair their houses. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune directed the Women's Union and the Youth Union of the commune to mobilize over 100 union members to help the two households in dismantling the roof, transporting and gathering materials, and cleaning to speed up the progress of house repairs.

Along with supporting labor days, the Women's Union and the Youth Union of the commune also support each household with 5 million VND to cover family expenses.

Mobilizing forces to support the construction of houses for people with revolutionary contributions is a major policy of the Party and State to show gratitude and care for the material and spiritual life of families with revolutionary contributions, demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude".
