Some presentations shared at the workshop emphasized the role and contribution of intellectuals in the development of Hue city.

Hue always considers science and technology (S&T) as the top priority, pays attention to investment and places high expectations on the intellectual and S&T team. Many mechanisms and policies to prioritize the development of the S&T team have been issued, deployed and enforced by the state in the locality, bringing about many practical results.

In 2025, the authorities and people of Hue city will enter a special period, the first year that Hue city will carry out its tasks in the new role and position of a centrally-run city. Through the forum, Hue intellectuals will express their views and attitudes based on science and practice to advise and consult state management agencies to solve problems arising in management work, arousing the desire to contribute, innovate and create associated with sustainable socio-economic development.

At the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Anh Tien, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, through his presentation "What should Hue intellectuals do to develop science and technology in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo?" emphasized the important role of Hue intellectuals in developing science and technology in the spirit of Resolution 57. At the same time, he proposed to focus on four main action axes: Research and application of science and technology; leading digital transformation in education, health and public administration; promoting technology startups and policy advice, spreading knowledge to the community. Key areas that need breakthroughs in Hue include smart healthcare, education associated with technology, heritage - culture - smart tourism and high-tech agriculture.

The speech of Dr. Phan Tien Dung, Chairman of the Hue City Historical Science Association with the topic "Hue intellectuals participate in developing science and technology according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW" expressed the view that the development of knowledge is a content that every society sets out, considering this an important factor for national revival and development.

The representative of the Department of Science and Technology with the presentation "Promoting the role of Hue's intellectuals and proposing solutions to develop intellectuals to serve the development of the science and technology sector of Hue city - a city directly under the Central Government in the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo" also said: Hue city is actively implementing Resolution 57 with the goal of building and developing Hue in the mindset of a city directly under the Central Government, developing science and technology (S&T), innovation and digital transformation and is identified as a key factor.

Currently, the city has achieved many achievements in the fields of education, healthcare, technology and digital transformation, becoming one of the science and technology centers of the Central Highlands region. The team of intellectuals, experts and scientists play a central role in leading and spreading knowledge.
