Mobilizing nearly 32.5 billion VND to support the poor in Binh Duong province to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

On the afternoon of March 20, the Steering Committee for the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Binh Duong province informed about the Program for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by 2025 (Program).

Accordingly, the subjects supported by the Program include: poor households, near-poor households and people in especially difficult circumstances.

Support level is 100 million VND/household for new house construction; in case of construction on weak ground, the maximum additional support level is not more than 20 million VND/house.

According to statistics from the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the number of houses eligible for new construction or repair under the Program in the province is currently 305, of which 110 are newly built and 195 are repaired. In addition, the number of households proposed for support for new construction but with land of common numbers in the area is 117 households.

The estimated budget for implementing the Program is approximately 32.5 billion VND. The number of houses eligible for new construction or repair under the Program is nearly 21 billion VND and the number of houses with shared land titles is nearly 12 billion VND.

The funding source for implementing this Program will be drawn from mobilized sources, including: businesses, organizations, individuals and contributions from cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the province; from the Fund for the Poor at all levels...

To implement this, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province requested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province urgently issue a call to mobilize organizations, units, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the area to support at least one day's salary. At the same time, the Provincial Front received and coordinated with the standing agency to allocate funds from the mobilized sources for implementation.

In addition, the Front and socio -political organizations monitor the implementation of the Program to ensure the correct targets and progress.
