Two days after tickets for Blackpink 's show in Hanoi went on sale, the situation of "price gouging" and ticket speculation did not occur as initially predicted.

As of July 9, on Ticketbox.vn, tickets to Blackpink's Born Pink show in Hanoi have not yet been sold out.
Specifically, VIP tickets (VND9.8 million) and the three lowest ticket classes Cat 3, 4, 5 (VND1.2 million - VND3.8 million) are sold out. The remaining three middle ticket classes with high prices (VND5.8 million - VND7.8 million) are still quite plentiful.
Although fans constantly argue about the high ticket prices, VIP tickets with their own benefits have been "sold out" since they first went on sale.
On social media, people who "hold" large numbers of tickets are struggling because audience demand is not as high as expected. Now, supply is greater than demand.
Many ticket search posts have up to 500, 600 comments inviting people to buy resold tickets with all kinds of reasons, from booking by mistake, having an urgent matter, or the person traveling with you "canceling the deal"...
However, audiences have the right to choose a safer and faster method, because they can buy it themselves, and too many fans have lost money because they believed the offers of "ticket brokers".
According to the reporter's records, the hardest ticket class to sell currently belongs to the Platinum area (7.8 million VND). This ticket is the second most expensive in the diagram but has a far seat - because the VIP area is quite large - and does not have the same priority benefits as the VIP area.

After 2 days, hundreds of ticket sellers are facing the risk of heavy losses and unsold tickets as the race for tickets gradually cools down.
Faced with slow audience consumption, many people have begun to accept selling tickets at the original price, even... at a loss, to "push" tickets away as quickly as possible.
Revealing to Lao Dong reporter, LPT (21 years old, HCMC) said that she tried to transfer the VIP ticket but no one bought it. Even though she lowered the ticket price from 9.8 million VND (listed price) to 9 million VND, T. still could not sell the VIP ticket that Vietnamese fans were most interested in.
Similarly, D.TH (Hanoi) also struggled because he had too many tickets but could not find buyers. Initially, H. resold the tickets to fans and charged 500,000 - 2,000,000 VND/ticket depending on the class.
Now, H. is forced to sell at the original price, admitting that tickets are very difficult to sell, whether VIP or Cat 3 (mid-range tickets are sought after because of their affordable prices).
Because the organizers only issue tickets in the form of QR codes, many people are worried that they will be scammed if they transfer money to receive the code (ticket code). Because the seller may transfer this code to many people, causing those who come later to be unable to enter the concert because of the same ticket code.

In addition, the large number of ticket sellers also makes Blackpink fans confused and difficult to distinguish between "ticket groups" and people who really want to transfer tickets.
On the buyer's side, they have many ways to check the credibility such as asking the buyer to take a photo of their ID, go to the yard through the security gate to pay, or record an identification video .
On Twitter and Weibo, ticket sales services for fans from China, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia are flourishing. However, the number of international fans is expected to be only a small part because the tickets for Born Pink at My Dinh are expensive and the seats are far from the main stage.
Up to now, the high ticket prices and controversial seating charts are still the main reasons why Blackpink tickets are not as "hot" as expected.
With a vertical stadium layout like My Dinh Stadium, plus a rather small T-shaped stage area, ticket classes below VIP can almost only watch Blackpink perform through LED screens installed on both sides of the stands.
From a lucrative bargain, the tickets that once made the entire Vietnamese social network eagerly hunt for are now in a state of "better to sell than to return empty-handed".
There are still many tickets on the web, "black market" tickets are everywhere, Blackpink's show in Hanoi is still a long way from being announced as sold out.
To be able to see the "sold out" confirmation post from YG Entertainment, Vietnamese fans will have to make a lot of effort to sell tickets and fill up 2 shows at My Dinh.
