ANTD.VN - In just one week, Kiss Bridge at Sunset Town will officially welcome guests, offering the opportunity to admire the spectacular sunset of Phu Quoc sea, promising to be the sweetest check-in destination during this year's festival season.

Having appeared in the MV I do by singer Duc Phuc and the band 911 earlier this year, Cau Hon caused a stir in all media, because of the extremely sweet sunset scene on the sea. Many people speculated that this was a destination in Europe or just a work of special effects because it was so unique and beautiful. However, in fact, this sea walking bridge is located in Hoang Hon Town, Phu Quoc and officially welcomed visitors to experience it from December 23.

The Kissing Bridge carries a Vietnamese-Italian “mixed bloodline” because this is an artistic work invested in bySun Group and designed by the talented Italian architect, Mr. Marco Casamonti. Not only that, connoisseurs will be amazed to know that the Kissing Bridge was inspired by the painting God created Adam (The Creation of Adam) by the Italian artist - Michelangelo and by the bridge woven by flocks of birds in the Vietnamese folk tale of Mr. Ngau and Mrs. Ngau. The site of the former Kissing Bridge was actually a stone dike to break the waves, located on the southwest coast of Phu Quoc. However, in the eyes of artists, the dry stone dike will be a destination to admire the brilliant sunset and the destination of couples, of romantic love stories. Therefore, the breakwater was also "enchanted" by the magic wand of fairies, becoming a marvelous work of art, a perfect piece for the beautiful picture of Sunset Town.

Right from the first sketches for the bridge, Italian architect Marco Casamonti exclaimed: "Beyond the function of a normal bridge, this is the work of a dream". In fact, every detail at the Kissing Bridge contains artistic intentions, creating uniqueness. Every soft curve, material and color used at the Kissing Bridge is designed to harmonize and blend amazingly with the magnificent sunset scene of Phu Quoc sea.

The most special point in the design is that the two branches of the bridge are combined but do not touch, but are 30 cm apart. That symbolic distance will only be connected if two people actively reach out to shake hands, give a hug or actively lean forward to give each other a kiss. Therefore, it is not by chance that the Kissing Bridge is called the destination of lovers, because in the beautiful sunset when the afternoon falls on the sea, the sweet kisses of couples exchanged from both sides of the bridge branches, creating an extremely romantic scene.

In particular, the international team of architects and Sun Group have painstakingly researched the path of the sun at different times of the year through a 3D simulation model, so that on January 1st every year, the sun at sunset will fall right between the two bridge heads, before slowly sinking to the bottom of the sea.

The uniqueness of the Kissing Bridge also lies in its structure, which is a conson span (a type of horizontal bridge structure, fixed at one end and free at the other) of up to 25m on a 65-degree inclined pillar. The total weight of the conson structure on each side is up to 400 tons, to visualize, this architecture is equivalent to compressing 40 buses and hanging precariously in the middle of the sea by 2 inclined pillars. Since receiving the design, leading construction engineers have been skeptical about this "impossible" project and calculated the cost to be up to tens to hundreds of billions of VND, compared to building a straight pillar. However, with the determination of the leaders and thousands of Sun Group staff, the Kissing Bridge was officially "born" in December, creating an unprecedented thing in the history of a pedestrian bridge on the sea, affirming the difference of projects invested by Sun Group compared to other projects.

The ingenuity of the Kissing Bridge is also contained in every small detail, so that only the most discerning visitors can recognize it. Right at the tip of the Kissing Bridge, the architects requested the use of super-clear glass, with a transparency of up to 96% instead of the usual 70%, to create a sense of invisibility. The word "super" also greatly increases the construction cost, but will fulfill the design intention, to honor people in the most central and solemn position.

The Kissing Bridge is also equipped with a modern LED Dynamics lighting system, allowing soft and free light like flames. In the purple-red sunset, those rays of light seem to come from magic wands or the wings of fairies, creating a magical scene like a fairy tale world .

The Kissing Bridge is also designed with each branch 400m long, equivalent to 5 minutes of walking. According to a design theory, this will be enough time for people to feel most comfortable and happy when walking. Especially on the inside of the bridge, visitors will be surprised to discover poems and proverbs from many countries around the world. According to the team of architects, on the bridge body there are engraved 394 proverbs, poems, love songs in 22 of the most popular languages in the world. These railings all have hidden lights inside, when night falls, the whole bridge becomes more sparkling with a series of sweet words glowing on the 2 sides of the bridge.

In the vast scenery of the sea and sky, walking on the Kissing Bridge with your loved one, searching for hidden codes on the bridge, that will be the most beautiful wish for the couple's love story.
