Quang Ninh Province Department of Tourism said that the 3 millionth international tourist arrived in Quang Ninh on the Viking Orion cruise ship on a journey across Asia from Hong Kong (China) to Ha Long.
The ceremony to welcome the 3 millionth international visitor to Quang Ninh in 2024 contributes to conveying the message "Quang Ninh - A safe, friendly and hospitable destination".

The 3 millionth visitor to Ha Long was Tina Bogle, an American citizen, traveling with her husband, Davia Bogle, and nearly 900 tourists, mostly Americans, on a cruise on the Viking Orion across Asia.
Along with the 3 millionth international visitor to Quang Ninh, on board the Viking Orion, there were nearly 900 tourists, most of whom were from the US market.
Welcoming the 3 millionth international visitor to the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tuong Huy expressed his joy and congratulated the delegation on coming to Quang Ninh on an exciting sea journey.
Introducing the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Quang Ninh has an extremely favorable location, possessing many attractive natural, cultural and culinary landscapes with more than 600 historical relics, scenic spots, converging beautiful landscapes and local cultural identities; with synchronous, interconnected and comprehensive infrastructure investment, it is one of the top-class tourist centers in Asia.
According to the program in Quang Ninh, tourists will experience visiting the World Natural Wonder Heritage Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum, city tour, Yen Tu Special National Relic Site in Uong Bi, visit the community tourism model in Yen Duc, Dong Trieu villages....
Quang Ninh province aims to complete the plan to welcome 19 million tourists, including over 3.5 million international visitors, in 2024, creating growth momentum for 2025 and the following years.
