6 district-level chairmen in Quang Ngai were criticized for slow handling of land administrative procedures.

The reason for this delay is due to the lack of timely coordination between the specialized departments of the District People's Committee and the People's Committees of the communes and wards.

Typically, Binh Son district is the weakest in coordination, leading to 138 people's land records being delayed. In which, the focus is on the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Land Fund Development Center and the People's Committees of Binh Chau, Binh Hiep, Binh Long, Binh Hai, Binh Tri, Binh Tan Phu, Binh Khuong communes.

Son Tinh district has 38 slow-coordination records; focusing on the People's Committees of Tinh Ha, Tinh Tho, Tinh Giang, Tinh An Dong, and Tinh Phong communes.

Mo Duc district has 23 slow coordination records; focusing on the Department of Economic Infrastructure and the People's Committees of Duc Minh and Duc Loi communes.

Nghia Hanh district has 17 slow-coordinated lakes, mainly concentrated in the People's Committee of Hanh Phuoc commune.

Duc Pho town has 32 slow-coordination files; focusing on the Urban Management Department and People's Committees of communes and wards of Pho Thanh, Pho Cuong, Pho Phong and Pho Khanh.

Quang Ngai City has 37 slow-coordination records; focusing on the People's Committees of Tinh Khe, Tinh An Dong and Nghia Chanh communes and wards.

After reviewing, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province criticized the above 6 district-level chairmen for not seriously implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on seriously implementing regulations on time and procedures for handling administrative procedures in the field of land in the area.

Leaders of these districts were also criticized for their lack of determination in handling the responsibilities of civil servants, especially land officials, who often caused prolonged delays in coordinating the settlement of land records of households and individuals.

The Vice Chairman of the province requested the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies to monitor the implementation of administrative procedure reform to advise the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to evaluate the level of task completion of the heads of agencies and units.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee Office is assigned to step up regular and surprise inspections of administrative procedure settlement and the organization of one-stop shop operations in the area, especially strengthening surprise inspections of units and localities that often cause prolonged delays in land procedure settlement.
