On June 26, the group BLACKPINK officially announced that they would bring the Born Pink World Tour to My Dinh Stadium ( Hanoi ). The information immediately caused Vietnamese social networks to explode. Although the ticket price for BLACKPINK concerts in Vietnam has not been revealed, according to experts and fans who have attended BLACKPINK concerts in Southeast Asia, the price will be around 1.5 to 8 million VND, depending on the location. It is expected that there will be about 40 - 50 thousand spectators attending each show.
This ticket price is considered reasonable and not too high compared to the live shows of A-list stars in Vietnam. Previously, Ha Anh Tuan's live show "Rang Ro" held in Ninh Binh on February 24 and 25 had ticket prices ranging from 1 million to 5 million VND; Le Quyen's live show - Love Concert held on March 8 at the National Convention Center had ticket prices ranging from 800,000 VND to 6 million VND; Ho Ngoc Ha's Love Songs Concert in Da Nang had ticket types: Moon (6 million VND), Sun (5 million VND), Star (4 million VND), Venus (3 million VND), Mars (2 million VND). In addition, the Special Combo ticket class (25 million VND) is for customers who need a package including a pair of show tickets, hotel, afternoon tea with Ho Ngoc Ha.
Why are BLACKPINK concert ticket prices only equal to A-list star shows in Vietnam?
Talking to PV Dan Viet about this issue, Mr. Hong Quang Minh - a media worker who has organized many large music shows in Vietnam said: "The problem here is the number of tickets, because with the same selling price, this concert will issue dozens of times more tickets than a show of a domestic star. If they sell out all the tickets, the revenue will be enough for production costs as well as the cost to bring BLACKPINK to Vietnam. The tour also takes place over 2 nights, not just one, and there are a number of international fans coming to Vietnam to participate."

Mr. Hong Quang Minh also predicted that the concert will sell out even though it may not sell out immediately because the ticket price is quite high compared to BLACKPINK's fan base: "However, the media effect is so great that almost everyone who wants to see a world-class music group perform will find a way to buy tickets. The number of BLACKPINK fans is only a part of this and does not account for the absolute proportion. BLACKPINK fans are mostly young people, they will have the advantage in buying low-priced tickets."

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh (in charge of communications for HAY Glamping Music Festival - a program that brought international music groups BLUE, A11, The Moffatts to Vietnam) commented: "Currently, information about BLACKPINK concert ticket prices in Vietnam on the internet is just a rumor. In my opinion, the official ticket prices will not differ much from the ticket prices in Southeast Asian countries where BLACKPINK has held concerts.
Compared to A-list artists in Vietnam, it can be seen that BLACKPINK's ticket prices are equivalent and slightly higher than some shows. BLACKPINK's audience is mostly young, based on the scale, level of investment and market research, the crew will come up with a price that is suitable for each country. I think that the BLACKPINK crew has carefully observed the Vietnamese market before deciding to hold the show in Hanoi. The fact that many audiences feel that there is not much difference is a good sign, because spending habits on the entertainment and arts sector in Vietnam have changed compared to the previous time."
According to Ms. Phuong Anh, with the current heat, the possibility of the website crashing and selling out is entirely possible when the audience hunts for BLACKPINK tickets. However, with the organization of 2 nights, the total number of tickets sold is about 70-80%, which is very successful.
"The important thing is at this concert, what image and impression will Vietnamese fans leave on BLACKPINK as well as international fans. I hope they will truly leave a beautiful, civilized image, proving the commercial strength of the Vietnamese market. Through that, Vietnam will be a shining place on the international artists' concert tour map," Ms. Phuong Anh shared.
