Video: T-90M Proryv-3 tank participating in combat in Ukraine

The RVvoenkor Telegram channel published a video, recording a battle near the city of Izyum with the participation of deeply modernized T-90M Proryv-3 tanks.

The video records the scene of the T-90M releasing a camouflaged smoke screen (part of the Afganit active defense system) to neutralize the optical-electronic glass of ATGM anti-tank missile systems, while simultaneously attacking the enemy with the firepower of the modernized 125 mm A46M-5 tank-gun.

In this battle, the T-90M destroyed a fortified firing point, 1 infantry fighting vehicle (BMP) and 1 Ukrainian tank.

T-90M "Proryv-3" was developed on the basis of the T-90AM and T-90MS tanks. The vehicle is equipped with modern weapons almost equivalent to the T-14 "Armata". The vehicle was first introduced at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2018". The first vehicles were put into service by the Russian Ministry of Defense in 2020. In 2021, Uralvagonzavod began mass production of the T-90M.
