The Women's Union at all levels in Ninh Kieu district actively implemented emulation movements associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in many creative ways, suitable to local realities. Thereby, contributing to spreading widely among members and women about a beautiful lifestyle and meaningful work.

Leaders of Ninh Kieu District Women's Union and An Nghiep Ward Women's Union presented gifts to students at Can Tho City School for Disabled Children.

At the end of April 2023, the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union launched the program "Ao Dai Wardrobe Connecting Love". At the launching ceremony, many members and women were excited to choose their favorite ao dai. Ms. Le Thi Cam Hong, residing in Area 1, Cai Khe Ward, shared: "Most of the ao dai are very new, hung flat, and divided into categories for everyone to easily choose. Thanks to the program, I have a beautiful ao dai, and I also save some money to spend on other things. With this ao dai, I will save it to wear on occasions such as parties, Tet holidays...".

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga, President of the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union, realizing that many women are in difficult circumstances, the Union has called for support from officials, members and women to implement the program "Ao dai wardrobe connecting love". After only 1 month of launching to the Union's bases, the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union received over 350 used ao dai sets from female officials and members and 150 new white ao dai sets for students from the Con Dao District Women's Union, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. The District Women's Union preserved all the ao dai received and gave them to students and women in difficult circumstances in the area.

Recently, in An Nghiep ward, the Women's Union of the ward has just launched the model of "Helping children go to school" in a clever way. To launch the model, the Women's Union of the ward mobilized and presented 133 gifts to students of Can Tho City School for Children with Disabilities, including instant noodles, cakes, milk, stuffed animals, etc., with a total value of 26.6 million VND. Ms. Tran Thuy Kim Ngan, President of the Women's Union of An Nghiep ward, said: "In order for the model to operate more effectively, the Union has deployed a plan to mobilize 3 branches to implement it together. The content focuses on coordinating to review the list of students who are absent from school and at risk of dropping out in the middle of school to have measures to mobilize and help them return to school; organize playgrounds, support study costs for students in difficult circumstances...".

According to the leaders of the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union, the District Women's Union has led and directed the serious and effective implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". Through propaganda work, each cadre and member is deeply aware that studying and following Uncle Ho's example must be done from the most practical things. Typically, in practicing thrift following Uncle Ho's example, the Women's Union at all levels has effectively maintained the following models: "Collecting scrap", "Charity rice jar", "Grasp of affectionate rice", "Raising piggy banks", "1,000 VND fund group" ... attracting 82.01% of members to participate. The district currently has 21 models and clubs on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, associated with training the four moral qualities of Vietnamese women: "Confidence - Self-respect - Loyalty - Responsibility" with 1,285 participating members; 100% of the Association's bases have registered with local Party committees and authorities to carry out practical works and tasks, building civilized urban areas and civilized wards.

Imbued with Uncle Ho's teaching "What cadre, what movement", the team of cadres of the district Women's Union upholds the spirit of being exemplary, saying goes hand in hand with doing, promoting the role as the core and important force in grassroots activities. In organizing movements, the Union cadres are proactive and creative in implementing many models suitable to local conditions; at the same time, they pay attention to solving issues closely related to women, supporting women to start businesses, vocational training, job introduction to help women change their production professions, carry out the campaign to build a family of 5 no, 3 clean, and gender equality... With specific and practical actions, the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union at all levels have been creating a vivid picture in implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", actively contributing to social security work in the locality; affirming the position and role of women in the new era.
