At the invitation of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense , a delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense led by Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, attended the Indonesia Defense Exhibition and Forum from June 10 to 13.
The delegation attended the opening ceremony, visited booths and product display areas of several large enterprises and corporations in the world and had meetings and contacts with partners.

At the meeting with Lieutenant General Derek Macaulay, leader of the Canadian Army, Deputy Director of Operations, US Central Command, the two sides emphasized that bilateral military and defense cooperation between Vietnam and Canada has been actively implemented in recent times, in accordance with the spirit of signed documents and agreements, including in the fields of training and United Nations peacekeeping.
Appreciating the success of the 3rd Vietnam-Canada Defense Policy Dialogue in Vietnam in February 2025, Major General Nguyen Ba Luc suggested that the two sides actively and comprehensively coordinate to implement the agreed contents; hoping that Canada will support Vietnam's efforts in overcoming the consequences of war.
At the meetings with partners, Major General Nguyen Ba Luc thanked the Ministries of Defense of various countries and businesses and corporations for sending delegations to attend and exhibit at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024; hoping that the Ministries of Defense, armies and defense businesses of various countries will continue to support and attend the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition in the coming time.

Indo Defence is one of the prestigious international defence exhibitions organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Defence since 2004. According to information from the Organizing Committee, this year's exhibition attracted the participation of more than 1,000 enterprises displaying products from 60 countries and territories as well as many delegations of visitors, trade and high-ranking representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the military of various countries.
The exhibition space is nearly 70,000 m2 wide, divided into many large specialized areas, according to military technology systems and types.
Within the framework of the Indo Defence 2025 Exhibition and Forum, seminars on technology transfer, defence cooperation and meetings between international businesses and policy makers will also take place.
The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense sending a delegation to attend Indo Defence is one of the international cooperation activities to practically implement the Party and State's policy on building and developing Vietnam's defense industry in the direction of being proactive, self-reliant, self-reliant, dual-use, and modern.
