The Prime Minister and leaders of ministries and sectors of the two countries congratulated Vietjet on celebrating and welcoming the new route during the Prime Minister's official visit to Korea. Marking the journey connecting Vietnam and Korea, since the first flight in 2014, Vietjet has continuously expanded its flight network, carrying 10 million passengers on more than 37 regular and charter routes between Vietnam and Korea, bringing more convenient travel opportunities than ever between the two countries, contributing to the strong development of economic relations, investment, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two countries. Vietjet is also the airline with the most routes between Vietnam and Korea, connecting Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat with Korea's leading metropolises Seoul, Busan and Daegu... On this occasion, Vietjet also announced the opening of a flight route connecting Daegu (South Korea) with the coastal city of Nha Trang (Vietnam), expected to operate from October 27, 2024 with 7 round trips per week. Daegu is one of the largest cities in South Korea, with attractive tourist destinations such as Palgongsan Mountain, Cosmos Field or a series of famous parks such as Apsan Park, Woobang Tower, Daegu Arboretum, Mangwoo Park, Gyeongsan-gamyeong and Gukchaebosang Memorial Park... Meanwhile, Nha Trang is a beautiful coastal city famous worldwide for its temperate climate, rich culture and cuisine... Vietjet said that when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, Vietjet flights urgently brought stranded Daegu residents back to their hometown safely. By resuming flights to Daegu today, Vietjet believes it will contribute to further developing the local economy.
