Vietnam Airlines provides free transportation of relief goods to flood-hit areas in the North

With the desire to act as a bridge to share the difficulties of people affected by Typhoon Yagi causing heavy rain and flooding in many northern provinces, Vietnam Airlines has just announced that it will receive and transport free relief goods from agencies, organizations, and businesses on flights operated by Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, Vasco).

Vietnam Airlines Group initially donated 300 million VND to support people affected by storm No. 3.

Specifically, from September 10, relief goods will be exempted from transportation fees, fuel surcharges and related fees, and will be given priority loading on flights from airports across the country to Noi Bai ( Hanoi ), Cat Bi (Hai Phong), Vinh (Nghe An), Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa), Van Don (Quang Ninh), Dien Bien.

The program applies to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, People's Committees of provinces and cities, Vietnam Red Cross at all levels, and charitable funds (licensed and chartered by state agencies).

Organizations and individuals wishing to transport goods to support storm and flood relief efforts to the Northern provinces during this time can contact the above agencies and organizations to receive free shipping.

This afternoon (September 10), at the "Launching Ceremony to Support People Affected by Storm No. 3", Vietnam Airlines Group also announced the initial support of 300 million VND from the support of collectives and individuals of Vietnam Airlines Corporation through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
