Vietnam Airlines increases flights to Con Dao.

Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines will operate an average of 26 to 30 flights daily between Ho Chi Minh City and Con Dao Island starting in March 2024. This number of flights represents an increase of nearly 50% compared to February 2024. This route is currently operated by Vietnam Airlines using ATR-72 aircraft, offering two service classes for passengers: Premium Economy and Economy.

With frequent flights, passengers can easily book tickets, meeting the travel needs from Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao or from northern provinces and cities such as Hanoi , Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, etc., to this island with a stopover at Tan Son Nhat airport.

In addition, the national airline has chosen Con Dao as the first location to implement the "Sustainable Flight Route" project, which includes environmental protection activities and contributes to the preservation of the landscape and habitat.

From March 15th, all plastic waste and plastic bags on flights will be collected and brought back to the mainland for processing.

The flight attendants also broadcast a message urging passengers to join Con Dao in its environmental protection campaign, limiting the use of single-use plastic products during their stay on the island.
