VinaCapital launches 7th investment fund in Vietnam

VinaCapital Modern Economic Equity Fund is the latest open-end fund product among VinaCapital's market-leading open-end funds for individual investors in Vietnam. This is VinaCapital's 7th investment fund in the Vietnamese market.

The fund will invest mainly in stocks with good prospects for long-term revenue and profit growth, linked to Vietnam's long-term economic development drivers such as urbanization trends, the rise of the middle class and digital.

Ms. Nguyen Hoai Thu, CEO of VinaCapital Securities Investment Fund, added that this open-end fund will invest in businesses leading the transformation and innovation process in Vietnam's key industries such as consumer goods, healthcare , financial services, technology, renewable energy and infrastructure. The company believes that these sectors will benefit from the long-term trends of urbanization, digitalization and sustainable development.

According to VinaCapital, as of October 31, the average profit in the last 3 years of some of the company's investment funds such as VinaCapital-VESAF stock fund reached 21.7%/year, followed by VEOF stock fund with a profit of 15.9%/year; VIBF balanced fund recorded an average profit in the last 3 years of 11.7%/year; VFF bond fund achieved an average profit in the last 3 years of 7.8%/year.
