Vinh Phuc announces 10th grade specialized standard scores, admission floor scores for 2025

Two floor scores

On June 17, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Phuc announced the floor scores and instructed schools to approve the admission results for grade 10.

Based on the results of the 10th grade entrance exam in Vinh Phuc province for the 2025-2026 school year, the Department of Education and Training divided the floor scores into 2 levels: 15 and 15.5 points.

The floor score of 15.5 points applies to high schools in the following areas: Vinh Yen, Binh Xuyen, Tam Dao, Tam Duong, Yen Lac, Vinh Tuong.

High schools in the areas of Phuc Yen, Song Lo, Lap Thach apply a floor score of 15 points.

This year's admission score has changed by reducing the score coefficient in the exam subjects.

Based on the floor score specified in the district/city, high schools will review and make a list of admitted students to submit to the Department of Education and Training for approval; at the same time, approve on the system for candidates who pass the first choice and arrange classes according to the priority order of candidates' elective subject registration wishes on the primary school admission software system.

Additional recruitment regulations

For high schools that have not yet recruited enough students (expected high schools: Nguyen Thai Hoc, Kim Ngoc, Binh Xuyen, Tam Duong, Yen Lac, Le Xoay, Nguyen Van Chat, Binh Son, Sang Son), the Department also provides guidance on implementing additional recruitment.

The Department requires these schools to publicly announce the number of additional recruitments on the school's website, on the enrollment software system and post them at the school for candidates to know no later than June 18.

Candidates who need additional recruitment can use the account and password that have been granted to register for additional recruitment to high schools with insufficient enrollment quotas on the system from 7:30 a.m. on June 19 to 5:30 p.m. on June 22. After this time, the primary enrollment system will lock the additional recruitment registration data.

Based on the number of candidates registering for additional admission on the system and the remaining quota, the Admissions Council of the schools will consider additional admission, approve the additional admission list, and report to the Department for approval before June 25.

Admission review schedule

The document of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Phuc also stipulates that Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted will announce the admission results on June 17 and enroll students before June 22.

Non-specialized high schools must announce the first round of admission results to the Department no later than June 20; check the records and complete admission procedures for first-round admitted students by June 22; approve the second round of admission results no later than June 27.

For financially autonomous high schools such as Newton Inter-level High School, Dao Duy Tu Secondary and High School, Lien Bao High School, and Pedagogical Secondary and High School, the Department provides guidance based on enrollment targets, quantity and quality of enrollment sources, schools set admission scores for grade 10 to meet the requirements of improving the quality of education and high school output standards of the school.

For specialized schools, Vinh Phuc Specialized High School, Vinh Phuc Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School prescribe standard scores and submit them to the Department of Education and Training for approval.

Previously, on the morning of June 17, the Department approved the admission scores for specialized classes at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted.
