On the afternoon of June 18 in Hanoi , Vietnam Television (VTV), Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee, and Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) announced the co-organization of the VTV Ferroli Cup 2025 International Women's Volleyball Tournament.
At the event, the organizers announced ticket prices to watch live matches of VTV Cup 2025 at Vinh Phuc Provincial Sports Stadium.
For qualifying matches, tickets are priced at 150,000 VND/ticket (for stands A, B), 100,000 VND/ticket (for stands C). For semi-final and final matches, tickets will be priced at 300,000 VND/ticket and 200,000 VND/ticket respectively for similar stand locations.
With each ticket owned, the buyer will be able to watch all matches of the day.
When asked about the rampant ticket scalping every VTV Cup, in which five tickets were inflated/forced to cost up to nearly 6 million VND/pair, Mr. Ngo Chi Tue, director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc province, said: "The ticket scalping issue always puts great pressure on the organizing committee because of the great level of interest from the people."
He continued: "This year we have a plan. The stadium has 2,800 seats. To ensure objectivity and equality, we have coordinated with VTV that in addition to the invitation tickets, we will sell about 1,400 tickets. We will use electronic technology applications and sell tickets online to learn from previous experiences.
Each CCCD can only buy 1 pair of tickets to avoid one person holding multiple tickets. The ticket selling and checking process is supervised by police and security forces to ensure that the first to last tickets are distributed equally."
Journalist Phan Ngoc Tien, head of the VTV Cup 2025 organizing committee, also emphasized: "It is necessary to strictly control ticket scalpers who gather in groups, traveling from province to province to collect and hold tickets not only for volleyball but also for other sports such as football."
Regarding security and safety, Vinh Phuc province representatives confirmed that there is a plan to establish a security subcommittee led by the police and military forces. The organizing committee also hired a security force to coordinate with the two forces to ensure the success of the tournament.

When asked about the naming issue after the province-city merger, Mr. Chi Tue said: "Regarding the naming issue, Vinh Phuc will become Phu Tho province. This is a difficulty for propaganda work when the tournament takes place right at the time of the province-city merger.
The National Assembly's resolution has a transitional clause, which will be official from July 1, but we agree to the name Vinh Phuc Sports Stadium, Phu Tho province.
In the third time held in Vinh Phuc, VTV Cup 2025 has a total of 8 teams divided into 2 groups.
Group A includes the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, the Philippines, Sichuan Club (China) and the Australian team.
Group B includes the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team, Korabelka Club (Russia), Chinese Taipei and the Thailand U21 women's team.
