Contribute to eliminating temporary housing
The house of Mrs. Bui Thi Viet (70 years old, Dai An village, Phu Ninh commune) is seriously degraded. After the survey, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune supported 60 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund for Mrs. Viet to repair the house.
The joy of this lonely woman was multiplied when the Phu Ninh Commune Youth Union mobilized benefactors to support an additional 10 million VND. At the same time, union members and young people were mobilized to support working days, transporting construction materials, etc.
“I am a poor household, my income from farming is just enough to cover my living expenses. Luckily, the local authorities and youth union members helped me repair my solid house, which has a combined storm-proof room and is very safe,” Ms. Viet shared.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Ninh Commune, Secretary of the Commune Youth Union, said that with the spirit of "Leaving no one behind", union members and young people always accompany and support those with housing difficulties. Thereby, together with the locality, they will effectively implement the goal of not letting people live in temporary or dilapidated houses.
The work of eliminating temporary houses is entering the final stage. In the mountainous areas, union members and youths are actively supporting with practical tasks. From Tra Lien, Avuong, Phuoc Tra, Phuoc Chanh communes... there is the cooperation of youths so that people can soon have stable housing and feel secure in working and producing.
Support for two-level government operations
To reduce pressure on staff at Tam Xuan Commune Administrative Service Center, each session always has at least 2 members to support people in carrying out administrative procedures.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Duyen, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Tam Xuan Commune, said: “Since July 7, when the Commune Youth Union launched the campaign, 79 union members and young people have registered to join the volunteer team to support the locality in operating the two-level government. Up to now, the team has increased to 90 members.”
After more than 3 weeks of accompanying, the youth union members of Tam Xuan commune supported the Commune Public Administration Service Center to receive 419 records, of which 284 were online. The locality has resolved 216 records, and is in the process of processing 203 records.
According to Mr. Duyen, this is an environment for union members and young people to study, contribute and contribute to the development of the locality; at the same time, it creates a foundation to become core propagandists at the community digital technology team in residential areas.

In Thang An commune, union members and youths supported the local government in receiving 1,306 administrative procedure files, including 1,023 online files. “After the merger, Thang An commune is quite large and has a large population, so there are many administrative procedures. The support of union members and young people has significantly reduced the workload of professional staff; at the same time, it has accelerated the progress of receiving and processing documents, bringing satisfaction to the people,” Ms. Dieu shared.

Mr. Le Cong Hung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, Secretary of the City Youth Union, said that the goal of this year's Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is to focus on supporting the implementation of a two-level local government model throughout the city.
The Da Nang Youth Union has established 93 youth volunteer teams in communes and wards and more than 40 student volunteer teams to support people in carrying out procedures at public administrative service centers, especially in border and mountainous communes.
Support teams guide people to use online public services, register for VNeID accounts, look up electronic records, declare documents, answer questions, etc., making the working process easier, more efficient and more convenient.
The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is still vibrant with many activities such as: supporting the exam season, repaying gratitude, volunteering in the highlands, donating blood, organizing free summer classes, accompanying the prevention of African swine fever, contributing to building new rural areas and civilized urban areas...
