VNPAY – The first financial technology Fintech to be honored as Vietnam National Brand 2020

Vietnam Payment Solution Joint Stock Company ( VNPAY ) is one of 124 enterprises whose products were honored in the National Brand program this time. Passing many strict screening, inspection and evaluation criteria from the Organizing Committee in more than 1,000 registered enterprises, the product " Payment solution by scanning VNPAY-QR code " was recognized as a product achieving the National Brand of Vietnam.

Vietnam National Brand is a program organized by the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade every two years. This is also a long-term and unique program of the Government to build and develop national brands through product brands to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese products in the international market. With the slogan "Quality; Innovation, creativity and pioneering capacity", the Vietnam National Brand 2020 program hopes to share and pursue new creative values ​​with businesses to create quality products with Vietnamese brands.

Among the enterprises honored to have products achieving the National Brand this time, VNPAY is the only enterprise in the field of electronic payment with a technologically specific product, the VNPAY-QR Payment Solution. The VNPAY-QR code scanning method is built to fully meet the standards of international card organizations, meeting the "QR Code basic standards" of the State Bank of Vietnam. Moreover, VNPAY-QR also applies AI technology to create smart consumer habits, helping to prevent risks and authenticate users.

It can be seen that VNPAY-QR is a payment solution with many outstanding advantages that have won over many users. Just log in to the Mobile Banking application of banks or e-wallets to easily scan the code to pay for all types of service bills quickly at VNPAY-QR payment acceptance points nationwide. With advantages such as fast, convenient, secure payment, many promotions... VNPAY-QR has been and is the choice of many smart users.

Payment via VNPAY-QR code is used by many customers.

Currently, VNPAY is developing the VNPAY-QR payment system with more than 100,000 payment acceptance points nationwide in many different fields such as retail, fashion, electronics, hospitals, schools... and many other industries. Users can pay VNPAY-QR on more than 30 banking applications and 8 e-wallets.

According to VNPAY representative, in 2020, VNPAY-QR payment transactions grew rapidly by more than 300% compared to the same period last year. This is considered a bright signal in the context of the economy being heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a pioneer in the field of electronic payments, VNPAY has been building technology infrastructure - connecting and developing payment networks with hundreds of thousands of partners and ecosystems, providing platform services and utility services for e-commerce and cashless payments.

In the coming time, VNPAY will expand and promote payment development in many areas, especially payment for small businesses that have not previously had access to new payment methods.
