In the period of 2021-2025, the Provincial People's Committee and VNPT signed a cooperation agreement in 5 areas, including: Providing solutions and applying IT to serve administrative reform, building e-government towards digital government; building telecommunications-IT infrastructure and developing smart cities; perfecting solutions to ensure information safety and security; developing human resources for telecommunications-IT; IT industry.
After nearly 5 years of implementing the cooperation agreement, VNPT Quang Tri has been maximizing its advantages, affirming its role as an important strategic partner in the digital transformation process of departments, branches, sectors and enterprises in the province. Currently, VNPT Quang Tri is providing a variety of digital transformation services and solutions, meeting the needs of individual customers, businesses and state agencies.
In the field of digital government, the unit accompanies localities in deploying solutions such as the Provincial Intelligent Operations Center (IOC), the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee's Executive Document Management System (eOFFICE), the civil servant management system, the Electronic Information Portal (vnPortal), the iGATE one-stop system, the provincial official email, the conference video system from the province to the commune for Party and government agencies, and deploying a specialized data transmission network system for agencies throughout the province.
In the field of digital economy , VNPT Quang Tri is the unit providing nearly 100% of medical solutions (HIS, LIS, RIS, PACs Hospital Management software) for medical facilities across the province. With the smart education ecosystem vnEDu, VNPT provides educational solutions for most schools in the area (school management software, student management, digital transcripts...). In particular, VNPT has deployed a database and tourism portal along with a digital infrastructure system, meeting the requirements of digital transformation in the tourism sector of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Regarding digital infrastructure and digital technology, units providing services such as electronic certification (VNPT CA) account for 48%, electronic invoice solutions (VNPT-Invoice) account for 95%, social insurance declaration solutions (VNPT BHXH) account for 35% and electronic receipts account for 31%.
VNPT Money cashless payment solution is also widely applied, bringing many benefits to the community such as public service payment, integration with the national public service portal, payment via QRCode, linking interbank payment systems, automatic payment of tuition fees, hospital fees and utilities for fast and automatic payment of telecommunications, electricity, water and television bills.

Director of VNPT Quang Tri Ha Phu Thinh said: “The application of digital technology has significantly shortened the work processing process, reduced cumbersome paperwork procedures, and replaced it with a quick and clear electronic file circulation process, saving time and effort for officials and civil servants.
At the same time, transparency in the processing process also helps to increase responsibility and coordination efficiency between units. Digital transformation in administrative management brings practical benefits to people and businesses. Access to public services becomes more convenient than ever when it can be done online anytime, anywhere. People and businesses can easily register, track progress and receive public service results without having to go directly to the headquarters of state agencies.
At VNPT Quang Tri, 100% of the unit's production and business activities have been carried out in the network environment. A series of digital transformation solutions have been deployed and applied effectively, typically: the centralized management system from the corporation to the employees VNPT eOffice, helping to optimize the work process, information exchange and document management; the production and business management system VNPT OBSS, supporting comprehensive management of business activities; the centralized information security and network security monitoring system VNPT MSS and VNPT SmarIR, ensuring the safety of the system and data.
In its overall digital transformation strategy, VNPT Quang Tri has determined to focus on developing digital infrastructure and advanced digital technology, continuing to invest heavily in telecommunications networks, expanding fixed and mobile broadband networks, ensuring high-speed internet coverage and expanding 4G, 5G networks, towards 6G. The unit will also strongly apply technologies such as AI, Big Data, IoT, Cloud and 5G/6G to provide modern digital services to the government and people.
