VNPT actively participates in the national forum on digital economy and digital society development

With the theme “Bringing digital platforms to every family”, the first national forum on digital economic and social development was jointly organized by the Central Economic Committee, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People’s Committee of Nam Dinh province on September 13 and 14 in Nam Dinh. Here, VNPT Group participated in sharing content and introducing digital solutions.

The first National Forum on Digital Economy and Digital Society Development took place with many activities including plenary sessions and seminars on: developing innovation as a fundamental driving force for digital economic development; developing the digital technology industry to become a foundational industry to promote the process of building a digital economy and a comprehensive digital society for all people; data and artificial intelligence serving the development of the digital economy and digital society...

At the forum, VNPT not only introduced and demonstrated leading digital transformation solutions that have been successfully applied and honored achievements, but also contributed discussions that are close to the reality of digital transformation in Vietnam.

Leaders of the Central Economic Commission and the Ministry of Information and Communications visited the booth and listened to the introduction of VNPT's digital transformation solutions and applications at the event.

With many outstanding solutions in the digital transformation solution set, in the high-level forum session, a representative of VNPT Group presented and shared the content "Digital border gate platform contributes to promoting digital economic development: proposals and some implementation experiences". This is a solution in line with the digital transformation trend and a breakthrough solution to achieve socio-economic development goals, helping to promote administrative procedure reform, saving time, effort, and costs for agencies, units, organizations, and individuals participating in import and export activities; ensuring transparency, limiting negative factors, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management in import and export activities.

In particular, at the first workshop session: “Developing innovation to become the driving force for building a digital economy”, a representative from VNPT Group brought the content: “Application of technological solutions to promote innovation and develop the digital economy locally”. This is a topic of interest to delegates as today, the application of science, technology and innovation is identified as the goal and foundation in the socio-economic development of countries and localities.

It can be said that innovation and digital economic development are at the heart of sustainable development. In that trend, each locality has been making efforts to implement innovation to develop the digital economy sustainably and orientedly in the future. To apply technological solutions, innovative thinking is needed, which is the guiding ideology throughout the development process not only in the economic field, but also in all aspects of social life.

In the 3rd workshop session: “Data and artificial intelligence serving the development of digital economy and digital society”, a representative from VNPT Group presented the topic: “Application of artificial intelligence to promote the development of digital economy and digital society”.
