Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his pleasure at meeting the Director General again; affirming that Vietnam always appreciates the role and contributions of UNESCO in maintaining peace, security and promoting sustainable development in the world through promoting multilateral cooperation ineducation , culture, science, information and communication.

The Prime Minister congratulated the Director-General on the achievements that UNESCO has made in recent times; thanked UNESCO for its support and cooperation for Vietnam over the past 50 years as well as the good developments in the "comprehensive, substantive and effective" partnership between Vietnam and UNESCO.
UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay highly appreciated Vietnam's role as a member of the World Heritage Committee; affirmed that with its increasingly high role and position, Vietnam's voice is very important to UNESCO; and hoped that Vietnam would continue to contribute to UNESCO.
The Director General expressed her wish to visit Vietnam again. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh invited the Director General of UNESCO to visit Vietnam at an appropriate time and hoped that she would continue to support Vietnam's heritage dossiers.
Costa Rican President deeply admires and wants to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to the friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Costa Rica, one of Vietnam’s leading partners in the Central America and Caribbean region.

The Prime Minister suggested that the two countries continue to enhance political trust through delegation exchanges at all levels, especially high-level ones, and political consultations; expand economic cooperation, promote bilateral trade, cultural exchange and people-to-people connections.
The Prime Minister thanked Costa Rica for recognizing Vietnam as a market economy and believed that in the coming time, economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Costa Rica will develop further.
The two leaders agreed to direct relevant ministries and branches of the two sides to coordinate in seeking new directions and measures to promote bilateral trade and investment cooperation based on the potential and needs of both sides.

Appreciating the potential for cooperation between Vietnam and Costa Rica in the fields of agriculture, tourism, consumer goods production, software industry, and digital transformation, the two leaders agreed that the two countries need to strengthen cooperation in these fields.
Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves was pleased to meet Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at this event and highly appreciated Vietnam's socio-economic development achievements.
President Rodrigo Chaves expressed his deep love and admiration for the country and people of Vietnam with their bravery, indomitable spirit, but also their respect for peace, their love for peace, their holding high the flag of national independence in the past struggle for independence and their self-reliance in national construction today.
The President of Costa Rica highly appreciated the potential for cooperation between the two countries and said that there is still a lot of room for promotion. He was particularly interested in Vietnam's tourism sector, expressing his impression that in 2024, Vietnam welcomed about 20 million international visitors.
With the similarity of being countries with long coastlines, the two leaders affirmed that Vietnam and Costa Rica have great potential for cooperation in the field of marine economy, including ocean protection, sustainable development and marine environmental protection.
The two leaders stressed the need to strengthen international cooperation in ocean protection, focusing on issues such as combating plastic waste, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and especially raising public awareness through education.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh invited Costa Rica to send a high-level delegation to attend the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime to be held in Hanoi in October 2025, chaired by Vietnam, as well as invited President Rodrigo Chaves to visit Vietnam soon.
President Rodrigo Chaves respectfully invited Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to visit Costa Rica at the earliest possible time. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh happily accepted the invitation. The two sides agreed to assign the two countries' foreign ministries to urgently coordinate preparations for the visits.
Prime Minister meets with King of Jordan
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to the multifaceted cooperation relationship with Jordan; recalled the meeting with the Crown Prince of Jordan on the occasion of attending the 8th Asia Future Initiative Conference (October 2024), in which the two sides discussed many measures to promote bilateral relations.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed the regards and invitation of General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to the King of Jordan to soon visit Vietnam.
Pleased to meet Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan expressed his admiration for Vietnam's socio-economic development achievements and strong rise as well as the hardworking and diligent Vietnamese people.
The two sides agreed to increase the exchange of delegations at all levels, especially high-level ones, to enhance political trust; consider negotiating and signing a number of cooperation agreements on trade, investment and other fields.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that the two countries soon establish bilateral cooperation mechanisms, including a political consultation mechanism between the two foreign ministries; study the negotiation and signing of a visa exemption agreement for diplomatic and official passports to facilitate delegation exchanges and exchanges between the two countries; affirm that Vietnam is ready to cooperate in agriculture and support Jordan in ensuring food security; and cooperate in digital transformation.

King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein welcomed Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's proposals and expressed his wish that the two sides strengthen cooperation in science and technology, human resource training, cooperation in dealing with the consequences of bombs and mines, and support the production of artificial limbs.
The two leaders agreed to direct relevant ministries and branches to speed up legal procedures towards signing bilateral agreements on the occasion of the King's upcoming visit to Vietnam.
On this occasion, the two leaders discussed enhancing coordination at multilateral forums and international and regional issues of mutual concern, including asking Jordan to continue supporting the stance of ASEAN and Vietnam on resolving disputes by peaceful means, and ensuring maritime security and safety in the East Sea, in accordance with international law.
