Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Nguyen Xuan Hung said: This year's contest was raised to a new level when the VGCL coordinated with the Vietnam Journalists Association to host it; and assigned the Labor & Trade Union Magazine (now the Labor and Union Magazine) and the Professional and Communications Department of the Vietnam Journalists Association to directly implement it.

This change expands the scale, affirms the prestige and growing influence of the contest in the life of the press and the Trade Union organization.
2024-2025 is also the period when the Vietnam Trade Union will reorganize and streamline its apparatus, many grassroots trade unions will have to merge or dissolve. However, the trust of union members and the cohesion within the system have not diminished. More than 1,100 entries sent from all provinces and cities are strong evidence that "Trade Union Arms" has become a spiritual playground, where the voices of workers are heard and respected.
In the group of professional authors, many works are rich in discovery and profound humanity. Notably, the work “Trade Union imprint in creating worker security” mentions the increasingly clear role of Trade Union in protecting the legitimate rights of workers in the context of many fluctuations in employment, income and life.

The work “The Union Feet Have Not Stopped” moved readers when it depicted the image of union officials who, although no longer allowed to do union work after the reorganization, still had their hearts turned towards the workers, ready to advise and support whenever needed.
In the non-professional group, many articles brought genuine, simple emotions. That is the story of Mr. Vo Thanh Ky (Quang Ngai), who once faced cancer, but thanks to the sharing of the Trade Union organization, he found his faith in life again. Or the special story of author Luong Tuan Huy with the article "Guiding light" and the accompanying letter, expressing his wish to donate all the prize money if he wins to disabled children at Hy Vong School (Viet Hung, Hanoi )...
Through the 2 rounds of Preliminary and Final, the Jury has selected 3 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 8 C prizes, 15 Encouragement prizes along with prizes for inspirational characters and characters that create impressive emotions. Regardless of whether they are professional or non-professional, the winning works all have in common the affirmation of the profound human values of the Trade Union organization, a place to connect, accompany, care for and inspire workers, so that each union member is more attached to and proud of their organization.
