Dienbien.gov.vn - On the evening of November 14, at 7/5 Square, Dien Bien Phu City, the Provincial People's Committee chaired and coordinated with 8 expanded Northwestern provinces to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 Northwestern - Dien Bien Tourism Fair with the theme "Glory of Dien Bien Phu - Endless Experience". Comrade Pham Duc Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and delegates cut the ribbon to open the Northwest - Dien Bien Tourism Fair 2024.

The 2024 Northwest - Dien Bien Tourism Fair is an important event in the Cooperation Program between 8 expanded Northwest provinces and Ho Chi Minh City in 2024, and is also a practical activity in response to the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024. Participating in the Fair are 60 booths of provinces, cities and agencies, units and enterprises in the province, with activities: Displaying, promoting, introducing destinations, unique tourism products; diverse and rich souvenirs, traditional handicrafts, OCOP products. In particular, within the framework of the fair, people and tourists can also admire the works of art at the photo exhibition "Cultural colors of ethnic groups in Dien Bien province in 2024", bringing a new and unique perspective on the cultural beauty of the ethnic groups here.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Duc Toan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: The 2024 Northwest - Dien Bien Tourism Fair is an important activity in the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024. This is an opportunity for the Northwest provinces in particular and provinces and cities in the country in general to introduce cultural values, unique, attractive and novel tourism products. Thereby further enhancing exchanges, exchanges and expanding linkages, promoting investment in tourism development between localities and businesses. At the same time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that delegates, distinguished guests and tourists will take the time to explore the scenic spots, have many memorable experiences at historical sites, at tourist villages of ethnic minorities, enjoy the diverse, rich and attractive culinary culture of the land of Ban flowers "Glory of Dien Bien Phu - Endless experiences".
