Both Dai Tu team of former players Ngoc Duy - Quoc Long and TIG know each other very well after many clashes from HPL to the most recent VSC-S4 final in the Northern region. Therefore, both sides approached the national final with caution.
After 5 minutes of play, TIG increased the speed of the match with the first shot by Thanh Long. A minute later, it was Hoang Long's turn from Dai Tu to miss the opportunity to approach the opponent's goal.
The most dangerous chance of the first half came in the 16th minute. Xuan Duong's shot from a distance caused goalkeeper Van Hung to miss, but luckily the ball hit the crossbar of TIG's goal. Then, K'Cong rushed in to finish the rebound but could not beat Van Hung.
