Regarding the case of a father complaining about the income and expenditure, his child was "deniededucation ", on October 5, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that as soon as he received information about the incident that occurred at Lac Long Quan High School (Soc Son district), the Department of Education and Training requested the school to report the incident and at the same time, let the students return to class on October 5.
Lac Long Quan High School's announcement causes public reaction
According to Mr. Tran The Cuong, schools must always put the interests of students first. They cannot prevent students from going to class because of differences of opinion between the school and parents.
Earlier, speaking to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper on the afternoon of October 5, Mr. Dinh Quang Dung, Principal of Lac Long Quan High School, said that on the morning of October 5, the school had a meeting with parents. Students also went to school as usual.
Meanwhile, Mr. H., a parent who had an opinion about the collection and expenditure in the class group, said that on the morning of October 5, he went to work with the school.
Mr. H. said that yesterday (October 4), the teacher informed the family that the school asked his child to stay home from school. However, today (October 5), she informed the school that they agreed to let his child return to class.
As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. H., a parent of class 12A3 of Lac Long Quan High School, had an opinion in the class's zalo group (closed group) about the school's income and expenditure at the beginning of the year. Believing that the parent's words had affected the school's reputation, the Principal of Lac Long Quan High School invited this parent to a meeting.
However, the school has repeatedly invited the parents to hear an explanation of the content of the message but has not received any cooperation. On September 7, the school continued to send a homeroom teacher to discuss and convey the invitation from the school board, but H.'s parents still did not come to work.
On September 25, Lac Long Quan High School continued to send notices to parents and issued an "ultimatum" that if the parent did not come to work at school, the student would be suspended from school.
On the evening of October 3, the homeroom teacher of class 12A3 called Mr. H's family to inform them that their child would have to stay home from school from October 4.
