On May 13, information from the Departmentof Education and Training of Dak Lak province, the unit has just sent a report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee about many students at Cao Ba Quat High School, Buon Ma Thuot city, asking to reserve their 12th grade results.

The verification team of the Department of Education and Training worked with student HGB and her parents. Student B. had submitted a "voluntary" application to reserve her results and had requested to return to school but was not approved by the school.

The verification results show that on April 16, the homeroom teacher invited B. and her parents to discuss her study situation and met with the school principal. There, the principal said, "Based on the mid-term test scores, I got 4.8 points in math and many subject teachers reported that I was weak, so I couldn't pass the exam."

Then, the homeroom teacher asked "Are you going to quit school or continue studying?" and the student wrote a leave application, the teacher confirmed the application.

On April 17, B.'s parents texted the homeroom teacher to ask for their child to return to school, and the teacher replied: "No, the principal has approved it."

On April 29, B.'s parents and student went to see the principal and received the answer: "The graduation exam was not approved, and the student did not pass the exam. The school has already erased the student's name, so how can he go back to school?"

The inspection team determined that since the beginning of the school year, Cao Ba Quat High School has had a total of 16 grade 12 students requesting leave from school, of which 7 students have just requested leave from April (5 students have submitted a request to reserve their place).

It is known that after the press reported and the Inspection Team of the Department of Education and Training came to work at the school, the school invited B. to return to school from May 12.

According to the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training, Circular 32 of the Ministry of Education and Training does not have regulations on reserving students' learning results, but teachers advise students to write applications to reserve learning results, leading to students writing applications to reserve learning results, which is not in accordance with regulations.

In addition, the application for retention of student academic results with confirmation from the homeroom teacher and the principal is not in accordance with regulations. The responsibility lies with the homeroom teacher whose students wrote the application for retention of academic results and the principal.
