Regarding the case of a parent storming into the school and assaulting a student at Nguyen Du Secondary School (Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province), on October 2, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Tran Van Ha - Deputy Head of the Departmentof Education and Training of Tam Ky city - said that the Department had sent a report to the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Tam Ky city about the incident.
Accordingly, on September 30, the school held a meeting with relevant parties to hear reports on the situation, analyze student behavior that should not be done, and student discipline levels.

Considering the reports and self-criticisms of the students and the minutes of the meeting to handle violations of the 8/9 and 8/11 classes on September 25, the meeting agreed that strict punishment should be taken according to regulations to deter and educate, while at the same time creating conditions for the violating students to have the opportunity to learn from their experiences, strive to improve their studies and practice.
After that, the school held a Student Disciplinary Council meeting according to regulations, and voted by secret ballot to propose disciplinary measures for each violating student.
Based on the proposal of the Disciplinary Council, the Principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School issued a disciplinary decision against the violating students, notified the whole school, parents, the school and class parent representatives, and reported to the management agency.
Specifically, student NNT (grade 8/9) chased and beat his friend, causing minor injuries, and was disciplined with a reprimand.
Student HHGB (grade 8/11) intentionally teased his friend, indirectly causing the incident and was given a disciplinary warning.
Student P.D.H. (grade 8/9) participated in chasing and beating his friend and was given a disciplinary warning.
The school also informed the students' parents to coordinate in helping the students overcome their shortcomings.
Regarding the handling of the violation against Mr. HVL (parent of student B.) who entered the school without permission to beat a student, the Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City said that Tan Thanh Ward Police had worked with related individuals, consolidated the case file, and advised Tam Ky City Police to issue a decision on handling.
As reported by Dan Tri , early in the morning of September 24, two students from grade 8/9 and one student from grade 8/11 got into a conflict and fought while playing. As a result, the student from grade 8/11 suffered a swollen eyelid.
Then, the 8/11th grade student borrowed the school security guard's phone to call the parents. After taking the child to the hospital for a check-up, the parent returned to school during the first period of the same afternoon, then went to the 8/9th grade class and beat 2 students.
The incident was stopped by a teacher's security guard, who left after beating the two students.
After the school organized a meeting between the parties, the parent who beat the two 8th/9th grade students also admitted his mistake.
