A Chinese robot with the logo of Hanoi University of Science and Technology displayed at the exhibition caused misunderstanding among viewers.

On that basis, the research team led by lecturers from the University of Science and Technology has developed new control algorithms, giving robots new features with specific results such as: Improving stability when moving on complex terrain; increasing the ability to adapt to changing heights and is currently developing algorithms to help robots climb curved stairs.

In training, the research team has built software and professional documents to help lecturers and students directly program, integrate AI and control motion. Information about bipedal robots was introduced at the exhibition area.

Regarding the labeling of the paper with the logo of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, according to the school, the robot is displayed in the area introducing the learning, practice and research development conditions of lecturers and students at the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2. This area has the participation of many different agencies and training units.

"In the long-term exhibition conditions, with too many visitors, many units marked the exhibits for management and preservation. The exhibition department of Hanoi University of Science and Technology used paper stamps with the school's logo to cover all the exhibits, including the bipedal robot, for management and preservation. At that time, there was an error in pasting the paper stamp on the bipedal robot at the position of the product's logo. Although there was a leaflet introducing the features of the bipedal robot at the exhibition, the use of paper stamps with the logo of Hanoi University of Science and Technology to mark for preservation caused some visitors to misunderstand. The school would like to seriously accept and learn from the experience for similar events," said Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Also according to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, after receiving the feedback, the school's leadership immediately directed, reviewed, and requested relevant individuals and departments to seriously explain the feedback. Representatives of the research team and relevant departments have properly performed their accountability responsibilities, providing complete information when requested. Hanoi University of Science and Technology's leadership has severely criticized the relevant departments for the above negligence, and has also reported to competent authorities.

Previously, the public was in an uproar over a two-legged robot displayed at the national achievements exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, bearing the logo of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Many people said that this was a Chinese-made robot but had the logo of Hanoi University of Science and Technology on it, completely covering the logo and label of the foreign manufacturer. Some people said that such a logo would cause confusion about the origin of the product.
