The market increased for most of the morning and afternoon trading sessions. However, the VN-Index fluctuated within a fairly narrow range, with the highest increase being more than 10 points.

MSN was the market's focus when it recorded strong demand, quickly hitting the ceiling and maintaining purple until the end of the session. At the close, this stock still had a large amount of orders waiting to be matched, while the selling side was empty. However, due to its small capitalization, MSN only contributed 2.11 points to the VN-Index. Anyway, this is a good score in the context of not many key stocks performing positively.
In the large-cap group, VHM took away 1.84 points, CTG took away 1.2 points, but VIC made up for it with a contribution of 3.24 points. Besides, VJC and GEE also supported the market, contributing 1.49 points and 1.03 points respectively. Other mid- and large-cap stocks fluctuated within a narrow range.
The whole market recorded 180 stocks increasing in price, while 129 stocks decreased. In the VN30 basket, there were 13 stocks increasing and 12 stocks decreasing.
In terms of industry groups, most of them increased, with hardware and equipment being the strongest sector with a growth rate of 5.11%. Total market liquidity reached more than 40,000 billion VND, showing that cash flow remains positive.
The bright spot was that foreign investors net bought, with a total purchase value of nearly VND 7,800 billion and sold approximately VND 7,273 billion, supporting the market's recovery.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, at the end of the session, the HNX-Index edged up 0.96 points (0.35%) to 277.08 points; the HNX30-Index reached 612.3 points, up 5.27 points (0.87%). The entire floor had 2,600 billion VND traded.
