Speed ​​up the progress of public investment projects in Lanh Ngoc and Son Cam Ha communes

DNO - On the morning of October 16, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Ho Quang Buu and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors worked with two mountainous communes of Lanh Ngoc and Son Cam Ha on backlogged and slow-to-implement public investment projects.

In Lanh Ngoc commune, Vice Chairman of Thai Cong Can Commune People's Committee said that currently the locality has 6 projects behind schedule invested by the commune.

Most of them are agricultural irrigation projects, providing clean water for people. Some projects have low implementation volume such as: Song Tum 2 pumping station (reaching 18%), Thien Lu pumping station (about 58%).

Local leaders pointed out difficulties and obstacles in implementation such as: receiving, managing documents and implementing construction works were interrupted due to administrative unit arrangement; some works did not have allocated funds for site clearance; mobilizing people to donate land and assets on land encountered difficulties; financial capacity of construction units was weak...

In Son Cam Ha commune, Chairman of the People's Committee Pham Viet Hau said that there are two public investment projects managed by the commune, including: the electric pumping station project pumping from Tien River and the Tien Trang pumping station project.

The Tien River electric pumping station has a total investment of 4.5 billion VND, of which the budget of Quang Nam province (old) is 3.6 billion VND, the budget of Tien Phuoc district (old) is 900 million VND. The goal is to provide irrigation water for 19 hectares of rice fields/year and more than 21 hectares of garden land of people in Tien Ha commune (old). The project implementation period is 2024 - 2026.

By June 30, 2025, the project's construction volume was more than VND 2.09 billion, reaching 55.5% of the contract value. After receiving the project back, the People's Committee of Son Cam Ha commune assigned the relevant unit to be the investor and continue to implement it. To date, the volume has reached VND 2.14 billion.

The Tien Trang pumping station project has been completed and the People's Committee of Tien Phuoc district (old) approved the final settlement of more than 2.6 billion VND. The total budget capital is more than 2.2 billion VND, 100% disbursed; currently there is a shortage of more than 428 million VND to complete the remaining items.

Son Cam Ha Commune People's Committee proposed that the city pay attention to arranging the remaining capital of 2 projects worth more than 2.6 billion VND; in which, the electric pumping station project pumping from Tien River is more than 2.2 billion VND, the Tien Trang pumping station project is more than 428 million VND.

Through working with the two localities, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu acknowledged the efforts, difficulties and obstacles in implementing public investment projects in the area.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested departments, branches and sectors to closely coordinate and promptly resolve capital and site clearance problems. Thereby, speeding up the construction progress of projects and disbursing public investment capital for the right purposes and according to the set plan.
