The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Farmers' Association of Cu Pong Commune, term 2025 - 2030

On the morning of October 16, the Farmers' Association of Cu Pong commune held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

In the period of 2023-2025, the Farmers' Association of Cu Pong commune has proactively innovated the content and methods of operation; promoted propaganda and mobilized members and farmers to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the Association's work and the farmers' movement.

Accordingly, the Association organized 92 seminars and training courses on transferring scientific , technical and technological advances to farmers, attracting 3,954 officials and members to participate; organized 30 field seminars to introduce new plant and animal varieties.

Standing Committee of Cu Pong Commune Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

In addition, the Commune Farmers' Association also coordinated with businesses and companies to supply 1,150 tons of various fertilizers in installments, worth about 6.5 billion VND to support members and farmers in investing in production development. Currently, the Commune Farmers' Association is managing 59 savings and loan groups with a total outstanding debt of more than 114.8 billion VND, contributing to creating conditions for members to access preferential capital sources, develop the economy and increase income.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Farmers' Association of Cu Pong commune has set out key targets including: striving to recruit 500 or more new members; establishing professional Farmers' Association groups and branches; organizing vocational training classes for at least 400 farmers. Every year, over 60% of farming households register and 50% of registered households achieve the title of good farmer households in production and business at all levels; supporting the livelihoods of at least 8 member households in difficult circumstances...

The Standing Committee of the Farmers' Association of Cu Pong commune introduced itself to the Congress.

To achieve the set goals, the Association has developed plans and action programs to propagate and mobilize members and farmers to develop collective economic models suitable to the conditions of each locality and the development level in residential areas; continue to guide members to build durian growing area codes; promote the renovation and care of coffee gardens; develop a model of breeding goats... contributing to promoting the transformation of the agricultural economic structure in a sustainable and effective direction.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Cu Pong Commune, Term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 31 members, of which the Standing Committee has 5 members. Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh continued to be re-elected as Chairman of the Farmers' Association of the Commune for the term 2025-2030.
