Nhan Co farmers promote core role in emulation movement

On October 15, the Farmers' Association of Nhan Co commune (Lam Dong) held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of 100 official delegates, representing more than 6,000 members of the entire commune.

During the past term, the Farmers' Association of Nhan Co commune has promoted its core role in emulation movements, especially the movement "Farmers compete in production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably". The whole commune has 6,436 members from 28 branches registered to strive to achieve the title of good farmers in production and business at all levels.

During the last term, the Farmers' Association of Nhan Co commune had 6,436 members registering for the title of excellent production and business at all levels.

The Association has implemented many effective economic development models, typically the model of sustainable clean coffee and pepper production, the project "Growing mulberry, raising silkworms and improving and caring for coffee" with a total budget of more than 2 billion VND from the Provincial Farmers Support Fund. In addition, the Association also supported seedlings for members in 28 villages and hamlets participating in the mixed garden improvement program, with a total budget of more than 100 million VND.

The Commune Farmers' Association also cooperated and guaranteed the supply of more than 1,000 tons of fertilizer, seedlings and quality agricultural machinery to members in the form of deferred payment, contributing to supporting production and improving people's income and life.

The Provincial Farmers' Association Executive Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Along with that, propaganda and mobilization work for members to participate in national target programs on new rural construction has been focused. The whole Association has mobilized members and farmers to donate over 12,300m² of land, dismantle 3,260m of fences, cut down 2,750 trees of all kinds and contribute thousands of working days to expand and upgrade rural, inter-commune, village and hamlet roads and build welfare works.

Notably, the Association has established 28 self-managed farmer groups to protect the environment, contributing to raising community awareness in preserving the landscape and a green, clean and beautiful living environment.

The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Nhan Co commune presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Bui Tran Thao Ly, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, commended the results achieved by the Farmers' Association of Nhan Co commune in the period of 2023 - 2025. She suggested that in the next term, the Association should continue to innovate its operating methods according to the motto "towards the grassroots", promote the central and core role in farmers' movements, gradually improve the capacity of members to be masters in agricultural and rural development, contributing to building Nhan Co commune to meet advanced new rural standards.

The Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Nhan Co commune for the 2025 - 2030 term introduced itself to receive its duties and took souvenir photos with provincial and communal delegates.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Farmers' Association on appointing the Executive Committee of the Nhan Co Commune Farmers' Association, Term I, consisting of 31 members and the Standing Committee of 7 members. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nhi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Nhan Co Commune Farmers' Association for the 2025-2030 term.
