Participating in the 2023 vocational skills assessment test are 200 comrades who are technical specialists of agencies and units due for examination according to the following majors: Ship Engine; Ship Electricity; Mechanics; Maritime; Reporting; Information; Radar; Signals; Armament; Motorcycles; Warehouse Keepers; Command Center Operations; Cooking; Barracks, Electricity and Water; Professional Engineering.
According to the assessment of the Examination Council, the participating candidates showed a spirit of solidarity, initiative, creativity, overcame difficulties, did a good job of preparing for review and practicing the test, and 100% of the results met the requirements (over 80% were good and excellent). 100% of the candidates strictly complied with the law, discipline, and examination regulations, ensuring absolute safety for people, weapons, and technical equipment.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Tran Nguyen Lai, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, requested that, based on the inspection results, Party committees and commanders at all levels need to study, develop plans, and supplement limited content to technical training at their agencies and units; strengthen guidance and inspection of compliance with the regime of preservation and maintenance of weapons and technical equipment regularly, periodically and suddenly according to regulations. After the inspection, candidates need to continue to actively study, research documents, exchange and apply professional knowledge and skills to practical activities at the unit, contributing to improving the quality of technical assurance work, building a "Revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern" Regional Command, and excellently completing all assigned tasks.
