Equip integration skills
When there are exchange and working programs abroad, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee regularly coordinates with relevant agencies in advising on the process and procedures for organizing delegations to participate in activities in accordance with legal regulations. Before each activity, the Provincial Youth Union organizes a thorough understanding of legal regulations and diplomatic principles to equip union members, youth and children with necessary knowledge and skills, and assigns specific tasks to each member of the working delegation. Thanks to that, the programs are all successful, leaving a good impression on international friends.
Typical examples include the working program between the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Singapore - Vietnam Young Leaders Network delegation; the program to welcome the Chinese children's delegation participating in activities in Lang Son in the 9th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program in 2025.
In order for members and youth to have knowledge, skills and confidence when participating in activities, the Youth Union from the provincial to the grassroots level proactively fosters skills, foreign languages as well as knowledge about culture and foreign affairs. In particular, focusing on raising awareness among members and youth about the foreign policy of the Party and State; the purpose and significance of youth foreign affairs activities carried out by the Union. At the same time, organize free foreign language classes, establish clubs, groups, teams, and interest groups; select youth to participate in foreign language and information technology competitions.

Thereby, contributing to helping young people improve their foreign language skills, communication, teamwork, broaden their vision, and form an integrated mindset.
Student Truong Thanh Hien, class K6KT, Faculty of Economics and Technology, Lang Son Pedagogical College said: I am very proud to participate in the program "Vietnamese Youth Following in Uncle Ho's Footsteps" in Guangxi, China. This journey helps me understand more about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh. The trip also helps me learn more about the culture, people and country of China. This is also an opportunity for me to exchange and promote the image of my hometown Lang Son, Vietnam to young people in China.
Being exposed to and interacting with international friends from an early age helps union members and young people develop an open mind, respect differences, proactively cooperate for development, and contribute to building a peaceful, friendly and humane world. In the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union will continue to coordinate and organize exchange activities to promote the role of young people in people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to building friendly relations between Vietnamese youth and youth of other countries.
