The retail market in Ho Chi Minh City is entering the most exciting period of the year with a series of promotions and deep discounts at supermarket systems and distribution channels. Ho Chi Minh City implements health insurance refunds for students
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance has just issued detailed instructions on supporting 100% of health insurance premiums and refund procedures for students who have paid in advance. Thereby, promptly implementing Resolution 56/2025 of the City People's Council, ensuring medical benefits for students.

Ho Chi Minh City Social Security requests schools and educational institutions to urgently compile a list of students who do not have health insurance cards as of December 31, 2025, and send it to the Social Security agency to issue cards before November 30, 2025. At the same time, complete the application for health insurance card renewal before December 20, 2025, ensuring that all students have cards according to the policy.
For schools that have collected health insurance premiums from students to issue cards in 2026, the educational institution is responsible for refunding the collected amount to the student's parents. In case the 2026 health insurance premium has been transferred to the social insurance agency's account, the school needs to contact the social insurance agency to carry out the refund procedure. After receiving the refund, the educational institution must fully and promptly refund the parents.
