Instead of starting at 6 PM, the match between Binh Phuoc FC and Khanh Hoa FC was postponed by one hour. The reason for the delay was heavy rain in Binh Phuoc. At the beginning of the half, the right wing, with the mobility of Si Giap, became the main attacking direction. In the 50th minute, the Binh Phuoc FC player wearing number 10 had a dangerous shot inside the penalty area, but he couldn't beat Khanh Hoa's goalkeeper Ngoc Cuong.
However, Sĩ Giáp's disappointment didn't last long, as just 5 minutes later, Bình Phước FC scored the opening goal. Coach Nguyen Anh Duc's team now has 4 points, temporarily moving up to second place. Meanwhile, Khanh Hoa FC suffered their second consecutive defeat, dropping to tenth place.
In the earlier match, Hue FC secured a 3-1 comeback victory against Dong Nai to temporarily take the lead. Hue FC has the same 4 points as Binh Phuoc FC but ranks higher due to scoring more goals (Hue FC scored 3 goals while Binh Phuoc FC scored 2).
