(NLDO) - In 2025, the English language major unexpectedly rose to the top position in admission scores to Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry.

On the afternoon of August 22, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry officially issued the decision on admission scores for full-time university and college programs in preschool education in 2025. The benchmark scores apply to candidates who are high school students, excluding regional and subject priorities according to current admission regulations.

Accordingly, this year, the benchmark score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry ranges from 16-24.9 (considering high school graduation exam scores), 601-1,000 (considering Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam scores).

In 2024, with the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, veterinary medicine has the highest standard score of 25. However, in 2025, the champion position belongs to English language with 24.9 points. Veterinary medicine ranked second with 24.65 points.

Agricultural processing, landscape and garden engineering, forestry processing technology, renewable energy engineering technology ( Ninh Thuan branch), agronomy (Ninh Thuan branch, Gia Lai branch), English language (Ninh Thuan branch) are the majors with the lowest standard scores, all 16 points.

Notably, the benchmark scores for training majors at the two Gia Lai and Ninh Thuan branches are "more comfortable", fluctuating between 16-18 points.
