Through a transparent and open review and evaluation process, Chuong Duong commune selected 21 eligible households for support. Of these, 7 households received support for building new solidarity houses at a rate of 70 million VND each; 2 households received support for house repairs at a rate of 20 million VND each; and 12 households were presented with electric motorbikes worth 20 million VND each. The total budget for the program amounted to 770 million VND.
These support measures are not only of material significance but also contribute to improving living conditions, facilitating transportation, work, and production for households, thereby helping people gradually stabilize their lives and giving them more motivation to rise out of poverty sustainably.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Van Trong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, emphasized that ensuring social security has always been identified by the local Party committee and government as a key and ongoing task. Mobilizing social resources to care for poor and near-poor households not only demonstrates responsibility but also reflects the community's compassion for those in difficult circumstances.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee also acknowledged and highly appreciated the cooperation of the Fatherland Front Committee and other organizations, individuals, and philanthropists who have joined hands to contribute and support the program's effective implementation.
This support program further affirms the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance – a fine traditional value of the nation – thereby contributing to building Chuong Duong commune into an increasingly developed area in line with the orientation of "culture, civilization, modernity, and happiness," ensuring that no one is left behind.
