Dien Dien Commune: Paying support money to people to overcome the consequences of floods

On the evening of November 24, the People's Committee of Dien Dien commune promptly paid support money to the people so that they could quickly overcome the consequences of the flood. This is the first locality in the province to pay support to the people. The commune has implemented the payment at the village cultural houses, especially for some villages that are still flooded, the village officials have come to the houses to pay the regime to the people. The people were very touched and excited to receive timely support from the State, helping them to quickly recover after the flood and stabilize their lives.

At the first payment session, the Youth Union of the Department of Finance mobilized 20 members to support Dien Dien commune in the payment process to the people. The leaders of the Department of Finance directly went down to assess the situation and assessed that the payment work in village 1 was carried out strictly; the list was approved based on the declaration of the people, confirmed by the village chief and the chairman of the commune People's Committee.

Dien Dien commune is a place that suffered heavy damage due to floods, all houses in the commune were heavily flooded. The whole commune currently has 960 households with 35,792 people. According to Decision 2196 dated November 23, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on targeted supplementation to the budgets of communes and wards (phase 1) from the additional central budget to support people to overcome the consequences of floods, Dien Dien commune was supported with 38,527 billion VND. Of which, support for living conditions for people in households with flooded houses is 35,792 billion VND; support for students from primary school level and above to buy books and school supplies is 2,735 billion VND.
