Duy Hai commune (Duy Xuyen district) is twinned with Truong Son commune (Nong Cong district).

Truong Son commune is 10km southeast of Nong Cong district center. The total natural area is 576.94ha with 1,174 households and 4,285 people. The average income per capita in 2023 of the commune is 73.2 million VND. Truong Son was recognized as a new rural commune in 2014, an advanced new rural commune in 2020 and a model new rural commune in 2021.

Leaders of the two localities signed a memorandum of understanding on twinning.

At the ceremony, Duy Hai and Truong Son communes signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and development with the aim of strengthening the relationship of exchange, cooperation and mutual assistance between the two units, promoting and exploiting the potential and strengths of each locality, especially in economic development, building civilized urban areas, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

On this occasion, Duy Hai commune presented 20 gifts to poor households, households in difficult circumstances, policy families and orphans in Truong Son commune.
