The exhibition displays many documents, texts, artifacts, publications and nearly 100 maps collected from many previously published sources by domestic and international researchers and scholars.

These evidences include Han Nom, Vietnamese and French documents issued by the Vietnamese feudal court from the 17th century to the early 20th century, affirming that Vietnam established and continuously exercised sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.

Notably, there are 20 copies of Nguyen Dynasty records dating from the reign of King Gia Long (1802 - 1819) to the reign of Bao Dai (1925 - 1945); 4 atlases (maps) published by the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China...

The exhibition is an important information and communication activity contributing to raising awareness, solidarity and responsibility of the people, especially the youth, in protecting and affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos through published historical and legal documents.

The exhibition runs until October 18 and is expected to welcome nearly 1,500 visitors.
