Go Quao Commune inaugurated 2 rural traffic bridges

On July 21, the People's Committee of Go Quao commune (An Giang province) coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and the sponsoring unit to inaugurate two rural traffic bridges in An Thuan and An Loi hamlets.

Specifically, the bridge “Nghia tinh que huong 28” was built in An Thuan hamlet, reinforced concrete structure, 27m long, 3.5m wide. The total cost of building the bridge was 140 million VND, of which the commune mobilized benefactors, Nghia tinh que huong volunteer group in Ho Chi Minh City supported 100 million VND, the locality contributed 40 million VND, and the people in the hamlet contributed more than 200 working days.

The “Homeland Love 27” bridge was built in An Loi hamlet, 18m long and 3m wide. The total cost of the bridge construction was 110 million VND, of which Go Quao commune mobilized philanthropists and the Ho Chi Minh City Homeland Love volunteer group to support 80 million VND, the locality contributed 30 million VND, and the people in the hamlet contributed more than 180 working days.

At the two bridge inauguration locations, the Ho Chi Minh City Hometown Love Volunteer Group presented 80 gifts (VND275,000/gift) to poor households in the area, with a total value of VND22 million.
