The review reveals surprising similarities between ant "society" and human society.

1/3 diligently correct mistakes

The author of the trilogy Ants - The Day of the Ants - The Ant Revolution said that in La Fontaine's fables, ants work very hard, while cicadas only sing.

But his observations of ants as a science journalist showed that 1/3 of the ants did not work, 1/3 worked but very clumsily, only causing hindrances. Only the remaining 1/3 worked hard and effectively to correct the mistakes of the clumsy 1/3, helping to operate the entire society.

That is ant society. And the writer thinks that human society works like that too.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre, Bernard Werber said this was just his personal assessment and did not imply criticism.

Human society, everywhere and at all times, operates according to this "formula". This seemingly unequal and unreasonable formula creates a solid tripod for the social model of humans as well as ants and possibly many other species.

If we know how to let go

Just as his conception of the meaning of writing is to open doors for readers, Bernard Werber's conversations also open new doors for thought.

He mentioned our limitations and misconceptions about human power and true position in the world , how humans use science and technology to serve life but often use them incorrectly...

Sharing about his book, he said that for a long time, people have wanted to control everything, but that is impossible, and this thinking prevents people from discovering very different worlds and new doors.

"If we know how to let go, with a humble attitude that we do not know everything about the world and even less control all the laws of the world, then we can live with other experiences."

Writing a novel about ants, Bernard Werber once again reminds readers to look back at the true position of humans in the world, not the strongest master, standing above all species as humans have long thought.

The tiny ants have been on this planet for 120 million years, while humans have only been around for 3 million years. Ants have knowledge of chemistry and can make their own antibiotics. Ants also have an entire agriculture and the art of war...

Above all, the writer wants to tell everyone to close their eyes, be quiet to extinguish the anger in each person, laugh together, and spread positive energy.

TT - Let's start with a puzzle: Use six matchsticks to form six triangles. That's just one of the challenges in the TV show "Thinking Trap" introduced in Ant Day - a fascinating book that captivates readers from the very first pages.
