Guidance on compiling, estimating and completing socio-economic indicators to serve the construction of documents for Party congresses at all levels

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of June 24, the Ministry of Finance held a national online conference to deploy, guide the compilation, estimation, and completion of socio-economic indicators to serve the drafting of documents for the Party Congresses at the provincial and communal levels (new), term 2025-2030.

Attending the conference at Thanh Hoa bridge were leaders and experts of specialized departments of the Provincial Statistics Office; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and units; People's Committees of newly established wards of Thanh Hoa City.

The conference's objective is to clarify the content of socio-economic indicators serving the development of documents for the provincial and communal Party congresses (new), which have been researched and developed by the General Statistics Office ( Ministry of Finance ); at the same time, to unify the approach, implementation, and calculation methods so that the evaluation of indicators and data is close to the reality of each locality and unit when included in the Party congress documents.

At the conference, representatives of the specialized departments of the General Statistics Office introduced many important contents such as: The set of socio -economic statistical indicators serving the Party Congresses at the provincial and communal levels for the 2025-2030 term; the content and method of calculating the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) indicator; the content and method of calculating the indicator of the proportion of added value of the digital economy in GRDP; the content and method of calculating the Human Development Index (HDI) indicator; the content and method of calculating the Average Income per capita indicator.

Delegates attending the conference were also guided by representatives of the National Accounts System Board, General Statistics Office to compile the index of the growth rate of total product value at the commune level; explained and clarified 3 groups of indicators in the documents of the Party Congresses at the provincial and commune levels, term 2025-2030 including: group of economic indicators, group of social indicators and group of environmental indicators.

The representative of the Ministry of Finance said: The development of a set of statistical indicators to serve the drafting of documents for the Party Congresses at all levels this time has many new points. Therefore, ministries, branches, units and localities need to study and thoroughly understand to unify the approach, calculation method, provision and use of statistical data to objectively, honestly and accurately assess the results achieved in the 2020-2025 term. From there, orient the goals, targets and tasks in the coming term.
